JEE Main Exam Eligibility Criteria 2023
Educational Qualifications:-
All the students appearing in the JEE Main exam must have passed class 12th or equivalent from any recognized board. All the students who have passed class 12th in 2021-22 only all those students can appear in JEE Main exam.
Age Range :-
No age limit has been prescribed by the National Testing Agency for any student appearing in the JEE exam.
Number of subjects in the qualifying examination
It is mandatory for all the students appearing in this examination to qualify in five subjects:-
- language
- mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational Subject

Changes introduced in JEE Main 2023
- This year the registration fee has been increased by NTA which has been fixed at 1000 for general male candidates and 800 for female candidates.
- Changes have also been made in JEE Main exam eligibility criteria this year, which has introduced 75% criteria for all students who get admission in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs.
- A major change has also been made in the examination centers this year. JEE Main exam will now be conducted only at 399 examination centers in India.
