Bank Holidays in January: There is no big festival in the month of January. But this month there are more weekend holidays. There will be 5 Sundays in January. Banks will not open on this day due to Bnak Holidays. At the same time, banks will remain closed on second and fourth Saturdays as well. Means banks will not open in January 2023 due to 7 days weekly holiday.

January 2023 is starting with a holiday. January 1st is a Sunday. Because of which the bank employees will have a holiday on this day. At the same time, the celebration of New Year in Aizawl is also celebrated with great pomp on 2 January. Because of which banks here will remain closed on that day as well. But in other cities, work will be like normal days on this day. According to the list of holidays issued by the Reserve Bank, banks will remain closed for 11 days in different cities in January. Weekly Holidays of Banks in January 2023:

January 1, 2023 – Due to Sunday, banks will be closed all over the country.
14 January 2023 – Due to the second Saturday of the month, banks will remain closed all over the country.
15 January 2023 – Due to Sunday, banks will remain closed all over the country.
22 January 2023 – Due to Sunday, banks will remain closed in the whole country.
28 January 2023 – Banks will have a holiday on the occasion of the fourth Saturday of the month.
29 January 2023 – Due to Sunday, banks will remain closed in the whole country.

Apart from this, banks are also going to be closed at the state level in the country on the occasion of different festivals. So let’s know about him…

January 1, 2023 – There will be a holiday for banks across the country on the occasion of New Year.
2 January 2023 – Bank will remain closed on New Year holiday in Mizoram.
11 January 2023 – All banks will be closed in Mizoram on the occasion of Missionary Day.
12 January 2023 – On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, there will be a bank holiday in West Bengal.
16 January 2023 – Banks will remain closed in Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu on the occasion of Uzhavar Thirunali, while in Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of Kanuma Panduga.
23 January 2023 – Banks will remain closed in Assam on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
25 January 2023 – Banks will be on holiday in Himachal Pradesh due to the Kingship Day.
26 January 2023 – On the occasion of Republic Day, there will be a holiday for banks across the country.
31 January 2023 – Banks are going to remain closed in Assam on the day of Me-Dum-Me-Fee.
