

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued an important notice regarding the 68th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE). As per the information, the number of posts for this recruitment has been increased. The commission has added 43 additional posts. These posts have been taken out for the Disaster Management Department. After this, the total number of posts to be filled through BPSC 68th CCE has become 324. Now in such a situation, all the candidates who have applied for this examination can read the notification related to it on the official website of BPSC www.bpsc.bih.nic.in. The date for filling online application with late fee for the candidates has been extended to 10 January 2023. The last date for the first application was 30 December 2022.
It has been said in the notice that an amount equal to the fee fixed for the examination can be filled online by depositing the late fee bank draft in the name of Secretary, Bihar Public Service Commission, Patna in the commission office by January 10, 2023. In case the late fee is not paid through bank draft, the candidature will be cancelled. Candidates who have already applied need not apply again.
These changes made in BPSC 68th:
– E option will not be removed as the fifth option in the 68th preliminary exam.
– One fourth mark (0.25 marks) will be deducted for every wrong answer in BPSC 68th PT. Questions of 150 marks will be asked in PT.
– Evaluated copies will be available on the website:
From this time onwards, the commission will make the checked copies available on the website after the main examination. Candidates will be able to see whether anything wrong has been done by the teachers. After the copies are available on the website, students will not need to ask for copies through RTI. They can download their copies.
– Final answer will be entered only after the preliminary exam:
Another major change has been made by the commission that the final answer will be released only after the 68th preliminary exam. If there is any problem in the answer then objection will be asked from the students. Three to four days time will be given for this. Earlier the answer was released after the release of the result.
– Compulsory 30 marks in General Hindi The Commission has made changes in the Combined Written Main Examination. General Hindi exam will be of 100 marks. In this, 30 marks have been made mandatory, but its marks will not be added in merit determination. You will get 3 hours for the exam. It will be mandatory to get the minimum marks fixed in the optional subject. Its marks will not be counted in merit.
Separate essay writing added:
The Commission has kept General Studies Paper-I and General Studies Paper-II of 300 marks respectively. This time a separate essay writing has been added. For this there will be an examination of 300 marks. All the papers of the main examination will be of three hours duration. Students will have to pay special attention to essay writing. Its marks will be added to the merit. The optional subject (MCQ based) will be of 100 marks. In this, it will be mandatory to obtain 40 percent marks for general category students, 36.5 percent for backward classes, 34 percent for extremely backward classes and 32 marks for scheduled castes, tribes, women and differently-abled.
Dates of BPSC 68th Recruitment Exam & Result :
The 68th preliminary examination will be held on 12 February 2023. Its result will be released on 27 March 2023. The main exam will be held on 12 May 2023. The result of the main examination will be released on 26 July 2023. The interview will be released on 11 August 2023 and the final result on 9 October 2023.
Candidates will be selected on the posts through preliminary examination, main examination and personality test.
