TRAI: Telecom regulator has issued a new order. According to the order of TRAI, now telecom companies will have to offer at least one plan of 30 days in any case, TRAI has not taken a big decision after the complaints of the consumers.
In the month of April, TRAI had issued instructions to the companies in this regard that they would have to bring at least one such tariff in the Plan Voucher and Plan Voucher Renewal category, whose validity would be 30 days. After the order, some plans of one month validity of all telecom companies have been launched.
Now TRAI has released the list of these plans. After the complaint of the users, TRAI had ordered the telecom companies to issue such recharge plans. Earlier, most of the plans used to get validity of 28 days. However, plans with 28 days validity are still available.
TRAI Order Airtel’s two plans:
Airtel’s portfolio includes two plans of Rs 128 and Rs 131. For Rs 128, you will get 30 days validity. In this, local and STD calls are available at the rate of 2.5 paise per second.
While national video calls will be available at 5 paise per second, data at 50 paise per MB and SMS (Rs 1 local and Rs 1.5 STD). In the Rs 131 plan, you will get all these services with a validity of one month.
TRAI Order BSNL and MTLN plans:
BSNL’s recharge plan with 30 days validity comes for Rs 199, while the plan with one month validity costs Rs 229. On the other hand, talking about MTNL, the company offers two plans of Rs 151 and Rs 97.
TRAI Order Jio plans:
Jio has also added two plans to its portfolio after TRAI’s order. Jio plan with one month validity comes for Rs 259. In this recharge plan, you get daily 1.5GB data, unlimited calls, daily 100 SMS and subscription to Jio apps.
At the same time, the plan with a validity of 30 days comes for Rs 296. In this plan, consumers get 25GB data, unlimited calls and 100 SMS daily for a validity of 30 days. Along with this, consumers can also get subscription of Jio apps.
TRAI Order Vi recharge plans:
Vodafone Idea (Vi)’s plan with 30 days validity is Rs 137. In this, consumers get 10 local night minutes, calling at the rate of 2.5 paise per second, local and STD SMS benefits at the rate of Re 1 and Rs 1.5. All these services will be available in the recharge plan of Rs 141 for one month.
