As per Railway Board’s letter No.E(NG)II/2021/RR-1/41 dated 29.09.2021, Certificate/Degree issued as PBC No. 157/2021 dated 05.09.2021 from Jharkhand State Open School, Ranchi is not recognized for the purpose of employment/promotion in Railways. Individuals, if appointed in the category of Clerk cum Typist, should have knowledge of typing proficiency of 30 wpm.

Minimum Criteria for Recruitment of Sportspersons
: Minimum Sports Norms for Recruitment of Sportspersons in Level-2 to Level-5 in 7th CPC Pay Matrix for both Individual Events and Team Sports shall be as follows: (Note: These provisions shall be read with the Notes at the bottom of this Para )
One. Online fee payment through Internet Banking or Debit/Credit Card up to 02-01-2023 up to 23.59 hrs and 17-01-2023 up to 23.59 hrs for Residents as mentioned in the closing of application column submission.
6.2 Application or Money Order received along with Cash/Cheque/Central Recruitment Fee Stamp will not be accepted and will be rejected.
6.3 The processing fee is not refundable/transferable/adjustable under any circumstances.
6.4 EXEMPTION FROM PAYMENT OF FEE: WOMEN CANDIDATES, SC/ST CANDIDATES, EX. Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, Candidates belonging to Minority* Community and Candidates belonging to Economically Backward Classes**: With a provision of Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only) to be refunded the same to those actually appearing in the test. Note: *Minorities shall mean Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Parsis (Parsis). **Economically backward class would mean those candidates whose family income is less than 50, 000/- per annum.
6.5 Competent authority to issue Income Certificate for the purpose of identification Economically Backward Classes:-
(i) District Magistrate or any other Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar.
(ii) sitting members of the Lok Sabha for persons in their constituencies.
(iii) Below Poverty Line (BPL) card or any other certificate issued by the Central Government.
(iv) Union ministers can also make recommendations for any person from anywhere in the country.
(v) Sitting MPs of Rajya Sabha for persons of the district in which these MPs ordinarily reside. Note: The certificate should be in the prescribed format (proforma available in the website) and copy of the same should be uploaded along with the application, failing which the application will be rejected.
12.1 Application in the prescribed format, complete in all respects with all enclosures must be uploaded online.
12.2 The decision of the Railway Administration in all matters relating to recruitment will be final and binding on the candidate. Documents to be uploaded: Candidates need to upload the following legible documents

.3 Educational Qualification prescribed in the notification. Also higher educational qualification such as graduation or post graduation, if any.
2 Scanned self attested copy of certificates of essential sports achievements as prescribed in para 4.2 of the notification. 3 Scanned self-attested copy of standard 10th / Matriculation / Secondary School leaving examination or its equivalent certificate or mark sheet indicating date of birth or school leaving certificate indicating date of birth.
4 Scanned self attested copy of caste certificate issued by competent authority for those who claim to be SC/ST/OBC respectively.
5 Copies of certificates for claiming exemption of duty under para 6.5. Declaration in case of Minority Candidates, Income Tax Certificate/ BPL Card/ ISST issued by Railways in case of Economically Backward Classes.
6 Scanned Photograph, Scanned Signature. Any certificate, photograph etc. sent after uploading the application form will not be considered separately.
