Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh’s biggest Gwalior trade fair could not be inaugurated but business has started. The business of automobile sector, the biggest attraction of the fair, is also going to start. The office of Transport Department has been closed and prepared from where the benefit of tax exemption facility will be given. The first Sunday of the new year, dated 8 January 2023, is expected to have the maximum crowd in the fair.

RTO office ready for 50% discount in Gwalior fair

Regional Transport Officer HK Singh says that the office has been opened to give 50% exemption in road tax on the purchase of vehicles in this fair. In the automobile sector, dealers have erected vehicles by putting up tents etc. Their offices are not built yet but there is no problem in the process of sale.

Inauguration postponed due to Jyotiraditya Scindia

The opening date of Gwalior Trade Fair was announced on 5 January 2023. Earlier it was told that along with Jyotiraditya Scindia, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister Narottam Mishra would also participate in this program but later it was reported that Chief Minister and Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar are not coming. After this another news came that Jyotiraditya Scindia’s health is not good. The opening ceremony has been postponed.
