Warning of action on laxity in distribution of food security allowance

Lucknow. Action can be taken against the officers because of which the parents could not get the food security allowance in the last two years. Those responsible for laxity have been warned of action on the complaints being received about non-payment of allowance to all the parents. Many parents have still not received the food security allowance for the session 2020-21 and 2021-22.

In the review done by the Director General School Education Vijay Kiran Anand at the block level, it was revealed that in some places the amount of food grains and conversion cast has not been sent to the accounts of the parents of the students through Kotedar. Expressing displeasure over this, he has said that the concerned officers should make sure that the consumption certificate is uploaded on the portal after distribution immediately.

Along with this, instructions have been issued to all Block Education Officers to ensure distribution of mid-day meals in the schools by monitoring them. Food grains and conversion casts are not available in schools where mid-day meals are being provided by NGOs. Information regarding these schools should be given to the Block Task Force.
