New National Education Policy will start appearing on the ground this year, many initiatives will be started
Work is to be done on more than 50 small and big recommendations this year

New Delhi: The year 2023 will be very important in terms of the implementation of the dream of taking the entire education of the country to a new height through the National Education Policy.
Initiatives such as preparing new curriculum for schools, setting up of PM Shree Schools in all states as per the recommendations of this policy, setting up of digital universities to make higher education accessible to all, and setting up of the Higher Education Commission of India are included in this.
Under the roadmap prepared by the Ministry of Education for the implementation of the policy, work is to be done on more than 50 small and big recommendations related to the policy this year. The direct effect of all these will be seen on the ground. Along with this, the four-year new Integrated B.Ed course will also be started from this year. In this, students interested in the field of teaching will get direct admission after twelfth. Under this, students will be able to do courses like BA-B.Ed, B.Sc B.Ed and B.Com B.Ed. Apart from this, a new four-year undergraduate course will also be started in universities. In this, the student will get the option to leave and start studies anytime in the middle. During this, on leaving in one year, you will get certificate, diploma in two years, degree in three years and honors degree in four years. If during this time a student has also worked in the field of research, he will get honors degree in graduation along with research. In the field of higher education, courses related to double degree and joint degree will see a boom in the new year. The proposed credit scheme will also be started in higher education.
According to the officials associated with the ministry, work has also started fast on the formation of Indian Higher Education Commission related to major changes in higher education. Its draft is being finalized. By the end of this year, the bill for its formation can be brought in the Parliament. Significantly, the new National Education Policy was approved by the Central Government on 29 July 2020. Since then, the work on its implementation is going on in a planned manner. So far, about two hundred recommendations of this policy have been implemented.
