JABALPUR NEWS- Commissioner stopped the salary of superintending engineer, ban on leave of CMO

Jabalpur, Commissioner Shri B Chandrasekhar has ordered to stop the salary of the Superintending Engineer of MP PHE Department and put a ban on the leave of the Chief Municipal Officer. The commissioner said that the CMO will not go on leave without the permission of the collector. The Superintending Engineer is accused of negligence.

Commissioner Shri B. Chandrashekhar reviewed the progress of all the district collectors of the division by discussing the burning and priority issues through video conferencing today. During the VC, he reviewed the effective implementation of PESA Rules 2022. Along with the committees formed under this, in all the villages where the PESA law is in force, instructions were given for effective implementation in this direction after taking information about the committees formed for collection of tendu leaves along with the account of the committees fund.

Instructions to stop salary of Superintending Engineer PHE

Reviewing the distribution of leases under the Chief Minister’s Land Housing Scheme, he said that the applications which have been rejected should be re-looked and those who are eligible must be given the benefit of the scheme. During the review of the Jal Jeevan Mission, said that work should be done according to the objective and progress should be made at a rapid pace. Action should be taken against the government officers and employees who are negligent in this work and the contractors who are showing apathy should be blacklisted. Pending in blacklisted proceedings and slow progress in Jal Jeevan Mission, directed to freeze the salary of Superintending Engineer PHE.

During the review of the operation of CM Rise schools, it was said that good teachers should be arranged in the schools immediately. Take stock of educational activities there, improve toilet and library system in schools, ensure training of teachers along with school activities and develop format as an ideal school. While reviewing the cards made under Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Mr. Chandrasekhar said that work should be done in this direction fast. During this, he reviewed the efforts made to reduce maternal and child mortality while reviewing regular vaccination, registration and vaccination of pregnant women.

During the VC, while reviewing the progress of paddy procurement, he instructed to make the payment on time. During the discussion of other subjects, he specially instructed that the Chief Municipal Officer will go on leave only after the permission of the Collector.
