Seven districts, including Amethi, have turned out to be backward in the gross enrollment ratio data provided by the central government regarding the enrollment of children in council schools. In these districts, the enrollment of children is less than the target.

Director General School Education Vijay Kiran Anand has warned the concerned district officials to provide the details on the U DICE portal. Hapur, Shamli, Amethi, Baghpat, Prayagraj, Muzaffarnagar and Balrampur districts are backward in enrollment. Since enrollment of every child in the school is necessary under the education campaign for all. It is believed that the percentage of these districts has dropped due to low enrollment of children or due to non-availability of correct information on U DICE portal. The Director General School Education has expected the DMs of the concerned districts to ensure that the correct information of all the schools is uploaded on the U Dice Plus portal.
